Was so excited to go to Anawangin Zambales last February with my friends. At that early, summer already began and Im dying to get a little bit of tan on my skin. It was my first time to go to Anawangin and I already made a picture on my mind how beautiful the place is. I heard it was paradise-like...
"Are we there yet?", I said soon as I sat down the car at 4:00AM and my friend was just heating up the engine.
We took the NLEX route and after eating breakfast at Petron, we are set for the long drive.
It has been approximately a 6-hour drive from Manila and I've already eaten 4 bags of potato chips.
We're still not reaching our destination and I already gained around 500 calories. My month-long diet preparing for this trip was gone to waste.. *sigh.
Just as my adrenalin was going down, I saw a glimpse of my paradise..
Oh wow! And my spirit went up again. I saw the crescent shaped beach and the clear blue green waters.
We hired a boat at Pundaquit which cost us P800 going to Anawangin. We reached there almost lunch time so it is a bit hot but I still enjoyed the boat ride.
We reached the camp site and it was not surprising that alot of vacationing people were there. Nevertheless, the campsite was clean and I love the vibe of the crowd.
There were no modern facilities. But there were open air toilets :) There were no banana boat rides, paragliding, etc. It's ok those are just the things that will destruct you from appreciating the beauty of Mother Nature.
Definitely my Anawangin trip was a bliss. Me and my friends were able to bond, chillax and get away from the stress and traffic of Manila.
Did I say Anawangin is a paradise? Yes, and an angel made a visit *ehem
